Specializing in events from 15 people to 1,500 people, TCU Place offers 104,000 square feet of convention space and features 21 exceptional rooms with unlimited configurations allowing for maximum flexibility for your conference or meeting.
Theatre
Our world-class theatre can host up to 2,074 attendees. Thanks to our exceptional world-class sound and lighting systems, the space is transformed into a new world of opportunity for your production.
Shipping + Receiving
Our team at TCU Place specializes in shipping, customs brokerage, material handling and advanced warehousing for the performing arts, meetings and convention industry in Saskatoon. TCU Place is pleased to accept the delivery of your materials.
We ask that you please follow our shipping & receiving guidelines to assist us in best serving your needs.
Materials being shipped to TCU Place for an event must arrive no sooner than three (3) business days prior to the event between the hours of 8am to 4pm, Monday to Friday. Packages arriving at TCU Place will be kept in a secured area until event date. Items being shipped to TCU Place for an event must include the following information:
- Mailing Address: 35 – 22nd Street East, Saskatoon, SK S7K 0C8
- Phone Number of Sender
- Contact Name of Sender
- Contact Name of Receiver (if different than sender – ie: Who will pick up the package?)
- Name of Event Coordinator (from TCU Place)
- Name of Event
- Date of Event
- Room Destination (if known)
Materials being shipped from TCU Place will be done at the shipper’s expense. TCU Place will not be responsible for lost or damaged items. We recommend including detailed information as to the shipping destination. Please keep the shipping receipt until the package has safely arrived at the requested destination
Items left after an event are done so at the owner’s risk. We will make every effort to return items left after an event to their rightful owners (C.O.D.). Please be sure to arrange for pick up the night of the event or make arrangements with stage door to be held until the next day. Charges may be applied for extended storage.
Tradeshow Booths
Shipments destined for Tradeshow Booths should be directed to our contracted Materials Handling Specialist at Handy Event Centre. We do not accept deliveries from exhibitors unless special arrangements have been made. Please discuss your requirements with your event coordinator.
Load-In / Loading Dock Information
TCU Place strives to make your load-in and load-out easy and stress-free. Our friendly staff will be on site to assist your load-in and coordinate the transfer of materials for all types of tractor-trailers. Please check in with our attendants on arrival to coordinate your load-in.

Our stage door loading dock is designed for semi-tractors and trailers to bring in cargo and production materials for concerts and events presented at our facility. The loading dock has a dock plate, and the long end of the plate has to be placed to the trailer that is being loaded or unloaded.
Stage Door Loading Dock Dimensions
- Distance from the outside ground level – 3′ 7.5″
- Garage door width: 10′ wide x 18′ high
- Elevator depth & width: 11′ wide x 18′ 8″ long
- Load capacity – 10,000 lbs.
The overhead door is raised and lowered by a chain.
Distance from the outside ground level to the loading dock level (also known as stage level) is three feet seven and a half inches (3′ 7.5″) or normal truck height of forty four inches (44″) high.
The loading dock at stage level from exterior garage door to inner garage door is 11 ft wide by 31 ft long, which is 341 square feet.
