Saskatchewan International Film Festival

The Saskatchewan International Film Festival (SIFF’s) main mission is to break cultural boundaries by cultivating and promoting the art and science of filmmaking. Just as Canada is home to people of different ethnicities, SIFF is a venue where budding and seasoned filmmakers from across the globe meet and tell their story to the world. SIFF’s theme for this year is “Make It Happen”.

With The Washboard Union & Brayden King. Since 1951, the U of S Agros have hosted Ag Bag Drag, an annual cabaret that combines live bands, drinks, and dancing with your pals. Often throughout the month, you will hear people say “Ag Bag Drag, *GOOSE*!” alluding to the event’s mascot. So come with a group of your friends, and be prepared to dance the night away!

DECEMBER 1

Boney M. is a living legend of the disco era. Originally founded in Germany by writer and producer Frank Farian, Boney M. was one of the disco-orientated pop acts to dominate the European charts throughout the late seventies and early eighties with a string of hits well remembered to this day. Farian molded the four-piece band in the dance pop fashion, featuring the stunning vocals of Liz Mitchell, which proved irresistible to radio, dance floor and partygoers.

Saskatoon Symphony Orchestra Presents: Disney’s The Lion King In Concert Live to Film

The Saskatoon Symphony Orchestra will present two screenings of Walt Disney Animation Studio’s feature “The Lion King” with Hans Zimmer’s Oscar®-winning musical score performed live to the film. The National Ballet of Ukraine
