Greetings patrons, customers, employees, and community,

The past three months have been exceptionally challenging for all and I wish to congratulate our community for our Saskatchewan-branded resiliency, strength, and kindness we have shown. There are so many fabulous acts of bravery, compassion, and innovation that we all look forward to recognizing and celebrating in future fundraising events and banquets.

With great anticipation, the TCU Place board of directors looks forward to our facilities returning to serving the community through arts performances, business conferences, and community gatherings as soon as possible and when safe to do so. We have some exciting updates which we look forward to sharing with you.

Safety continues to be top priority at TCU Place, and we remain closed until such a time is that it is safe and practical to open. We are working closely with our customers and public health experts to determine and enact a re-opening plan.

While technology has allowed us to remain connected virtually both locally and worldwide, there is something very tangible missing from personal interaction, something our TCU Place team has been delivering for over 50 years to our community.

At times just a few months ago we have been torn between binge-watching the latest series or attending a live event on Saturday night, after a long week of work. We now yearn for the opportunity to connect with old friends at a celebrity fundraising dinner or escape the winter with live performances from the local, world-class artists of the Saskatoon Symphony or Fireside Singers. We look to be dazzled by Broadway’s latest musical and we look to having our hearts melted by the timeless acoustics of the Sid Buckwold Theatre.

The board and management of TCU Place share the vision of driving towards the development of a fabulous Downtown Entertainment District complete with theatre and convention facilities, furthering the significant economic spin-off TCU Place generates annually in our community.

Our team is busy planning for an extravagant return to live events fitting of the strength our community has shown through this pandemic. The future of TCU Place is bright. The future of Saskatoon shines. TCU Place misses delivering exceptional experiences and most of all, we miss you.

On behalf of the TCU Place board, we wish you all the best and look forward to seeing you at our reopening. We’ll save you a seat.
