July 13, 2026 – SASKATOON, SK The TCU Place Board of Directors is pleased to announce the appointment of Matt Colton as Interim Chief Executive Officer, effective immediately.
The appointment reflects the Board’s commitment to ensuring strong leadership and operational excellence as TCU Place continues to deliver exceptional experiences for clients, patrons and the community.
Matt has been a respected member of the TCU Place leadership team for more than 20 years and currently serves as Director of Operations. Throughout his tenure, he has played a critical role in delivering thousands of events, overseeing venue operations and leading teams dedicated to creating exceptional experiences.
Matt is a graduate of the International Association of Venue Managers (IAVM) Venue Management School, the Edwards School of Business Executive Education Program through the University of Saskatchewan, and the Leadership Saskatoon Program, which he completed in 2024.
He is recognized for his collaborative leadership, operational expertise and deep understanding of the organization.

As Interim CEO, Matt will work closely with the Board of Directors, employees and community partners to ensure TCU Place continues to serve as a vital part of Saskatoon’s business, arts and culture ecosystem.
